The hold-down device is used to fix the T3 cable tray to a certain length of strut/channel. Always use in pairs on opposite sides of the tray and fix T3 at least twice along its length. T3 splices are used to join 2 lengths of tray together, and are installed on the inside of the trays' side wall.
